Pause 300 by =s9
I'm proud to feature the brilliantly unique Pause 300 here
as it's one of my favorite photographs of all times.
That's to prove everybody that being lucky is an
integral part of being a successful photographer.
Thank you for that Didge!

Dostoevsky's San Francisco by *myownself
This photo is a lot of things, but maybe Special would
be the best word to describe it. What I like the most
about it is the fact that it has been taken at 2001 and
still looks like an early 20's photograph.
You got it, Asya!

Take On The Day by *aquapell
Never mind who you are, this photo makes you feel
something. Something peaceful, something dramatic.
Its special angle, colors and mood are sadly rare
in many photographs today.
Well done, Alex!

PAST SELECTED

agatadyka by ~misz000
I don't speak a word of Polish, but if I accidentally enter
such a beautiful Polish website, I'd be staying in it for hours
thanks to Michal's unique talent. He's one of those rare
designers that any website owner always looks for.

Personal Website by ~arc4njo
Pedro's personal website boasts in an original minimalistic
design. It starts with its general rectangular shape, which
you all know as the Cinemascope 2.35:1 aspect ratio (or
in other words, today's most common widescreen movie
format) and the optical illusion you get that it's slightly
slanted (thanks to the wonderful brown frame), then it
moves to the well manipulated photo of him on the left
and finally the excellently decorated second frame.
Pedro, I'm well impressed!

CodeSIGN - WEB-V1 by ~informer
If you ever thought that everything has been done
already in the webdesign industry, here's the optimal
proof to show you you're wrong. Sri Lankian designer
Dinesh was very clear about what he wanted to do, a Real
Business webdesign. Look at that man on the right, he
shouts 'Business Vision!' towards you, so do the well
chosen colors and the decorative squares. Wow.
A great innovative design, Dinesh!

Chris- 3D portrait by *redragon
One of the most impressing 3D portrait ever submitted to dA.
The additional modeling and manipulations, the texturing,
the lighting and finally the rendering. All done professionally.
So maybe the PS hair drawing could have been done better
but it's still one of my favorites.

Xanavi Nismo 350-Z JGTC by `dangeruss
While making such a complex artwork you need to take
many things into account, and Russ knows how to do it pretty
well, from the initial concept to the post-processing.
So even if the shading calls for a small improvement (look
at the Nismo's forepart when it touches the road for
example), it's still an awesome job.
(Digital Art - Realistic 3-Dimensional Art B)

a cup of kahve by ~silvereye
This has nothing to do with modeling or liquid simulation, but it
comes to show you what professional textruring and lighting
can do even to the simplest model. I love it.

Right This Way, Big Fella by *seafaringgypsy
No, it's not a cropped picture from a war film. It's from the
film of real life, taken during a routine drill of the U.S Army.
Ah, I feel cold.
(Photography - Photojournalism - Military A)

Considering by ~igal-alexander
Can you feel it too? I'm sure you can.
Igal is for sure the best photojournalist Israel has ever had,
his gallery is a must for everyone interested in any kind of
photojournalism, and not only.
(Photography - Photojournalism - Military B)

The Reality by ~phattmonk
You can look at this picture for several minutes, for there is
much behind it. The idea of using the reflection is brilliant, it
makes us see the 'two faces' of the soldier. Try finding it by
yourself.
(Photography - Photojournalism - Military C)

Warbirds by ~sixstring
The angle, the colors, even those clouds at the right,
everything is so in place that it looks somewhat unreal.
Just a beautiful photograph.

Green Day by !repixel
Green Day has a brilliant concept, a beautiful model and striking colors.
I also love its angle, textures, ah...I love everything in it.
